What’s this?
These are some of the most interesting and beautiful things that we talked about in our studio this week. We show you the stuff that we have come across on instagram, the web or in real life and that inspires and excites us. And yes, sometimes we mingle in our own projects. We enjoy sharing it with our friends, colleagues and anyone interested. Below this week’s 5 tips, here our collected overview.
1: Spotlight on properties
Ian Strange lifts photography of houses to poetic levels of beauty. His Penumbra project is as simple as it is powerful. Or what about the Dalison project, watch the trailer at the project site, check his insta. Awesome.
2: Show some Bannache
Bannach is furniture with an attitude. They leave subtlety to others and treat (furniture) design in a way that is somewhat reminiscent of Sebastian Wrong. Insta!
3: Hahahaha!
The ultimate design rationale bullshit, in a handy PDF-file. This presentation from 2008 took over 14 years to surface at our screens, but let’s just say it was worth the wait. When a good concept is lacking and you try to distance your client from his $1.000.000 by selling him utter crap. On some level, pretty genius haha!
