What’s this?


These are some of the most interesting and beautiful things that we talked about at our studio this week. We show you the stuff that we have come across on instagram, the web or in real life and that inspires and excites us. And yes, sometimes we mingle in our own projects. 1: Funk in the trunk

NYT dove into the world of Dominican car culture, where customized sound systems are an art of their own. Dominican car enthusiasts — known as musicólogos — are like DJs and live engineers, selecting songs and mixing levels for maximum effect. (nice insta & mirror)








2: Unboring kitchens



Fed up by the traditional Dutch kitchen market, Amsterdam design firm Baboon got on a mission to unbore the regular cookery. custom kitchen exteriors based on Ikea backbones.






3: We’re loving it

Although he wasn’t hungry at the time, the Mcdonald’s branch at an airport caught the attention of Korean designer Gyuhan Lee. Not for its fast-food meals, but because of its paper bags. McLight!





4: Inside the lines

Over the years, Belgian artist Lindert Steegen has developed his own abstract / minimalistic style, with a bold and powerful color palette. Bringing more color to the world one project at a time.







5: 2 drops of water

With her speedy caricatures, Ninjasketch turns reaction-videos to a whole new level. The drawings are high art, but the faces of the subjects once confronted with the end result are pure gold! 😂️
