Tip 5 — week 14, 2025

What’s this?

These are some of the most interesting and beautiful things that we talked about at our studio this week. We show you the stuff that we have come across on instagram, the web or in real life and that inspires and excites us. And yes, sometimes we mingle in our own projects. We enjoy sharing it with our friends, colleagues and anyone interested. Below this week’s 5 tips, here our collected overview.

1: De-mension

Eindhoven-based designer Jongha Choi has created a collection of benches and stools called ‘de-dimension’ that can transform from a flat, two-dimensional view, to a three-dimension functional object.

2: Street pottery

GR170 aka “Grito” works, paints and survives in the outskirts of Barcelona. His transition into pottery is awesome, in spirit somewhat like Satoshi Miyashita’s Toys Pottery.

3: Fluffy pixels

Marine Beaufils is a French embroidery artist. She reproduces the world on a different grid than the one that is imposed to us.

4: Texture it

Joseph Töreki creates textures for 3D rendering based on photographs. Sounds easier than it is, but more importantly; the outcames are looking hyper-realistic.

5: Mobile development

Are you checking this Tip 5 out on your mobile? Imagine how mobile telephones could have evolved from Nokia’s archive. Their prototypes were wild, but looking back at them now, totally unsuited for this day and age.
