What’s this?
These are some of the most interesting and beautiful things that we talked about in our studio this week. We show you the stuff that we have come across on instagram, the web or in real life and that inspires and excites us. And yes, sometimes we mingle in our own projects. We enjoy sharing it with our friends, colleagues and anyone interested. Below this week’s 5 tips, here our collected overview.
1: Wireless tapes
Cassette tapes are the new vinyls (attention, up next the CD revival!!) in terms of music mediums. Tapes wear off horribly with each play, that’s why CDs were so awesome back in the day. But then again: nothing ever felt as good as playing mixtapes, let alone creating mixtapes. Luckily the folks over at Nimlab thought of a way to pull cassette-technique into our day and age with a bluetooth player 😀️
2: Now that’s what we call racing through texts!
Bionic Reading is a tool that revises texts so that the most concise parts of words are highlighted. This guides the eye over the text and the brain remembers previously learned words more quickly. This sounds a bit weird, but it actually works. Give it a try. It leaves us with one questionmark though; why didn’t they give the texts on their site the bionic treatment?
3: H.D.F. caressing your face...
You have seen the movie, now you can own the gloves. Finger licking good!
5: WHAT THE SUPER MEGA FUCK!
When you finished browsing all on the web, you could of course make a book of the highlights. Then follow it by a part two and three. Jean Marie Donat did just that. Sold out on the publisher’s site, but still widely available in shops.
