What’s this?
These are some of the most interesting and beautiful things that we talked about at our studio this week. We show you the stuff that we have come across on instagram, the web or in real life and that inspires and excites us. And yes, sometimes we mingle in our own projects. We enjoy sharing it with our friends, colleagues and anyone interested. Below this week’s 5 tips, here our collected overview.
1: Holotype
Our type filled lives get overflown with new typefaces and font-techniques every week. Blogs that do some editing for us and structure the chaotic world of typedesign are some of our favorite go-to places on the web. Holographik does an awesome job in editing type in cool looking mockups.
2: Enoplayer
If you like vinyl like us, why not spare some bucks for a decent player. Brian Eno got busy with led and a bunch of cast acrylics. Too bad he didn’t take our budgets into account...
3: 3D-Pulp
Thomas Allen creates cinematic universes with a pair of scissors and some paper folding and it rocks SO hard!! ⚡️💥 Commissioned by Chipp Kidd among others. Check his Insta and artist page at Joseph Bellows Gallery as well!
4: StickIt 100
When in Eindhoven, go see the exhibition of original works and the presentation of the first 100 (💯) zines Published by friend of the Show Jeroen/Stick It!!! Until March 24 at Kelderman and van Noort.
5: In the basement
