What’s this?
These are some of the most interesting and beautiful things that we talked about in our studio this week. We show you the stuff that we have come across on instagram, the web or in real life and that inspires and excites us. And yes, sometimes we mingle in our own projects. We enjoy sharing it with our friends, colleagues and anyone interested. Below this week’s 5 tips, here our collected overview.
1: Frosty you
If you were an icecream, which one would you be? Weird question, great results in this project by Max Siedentopf!
2: Awesome manholes
Japan is the coolest country in the whole world. Of course. Nothing is going to be cooler than a country with awesome manholes. Nothing. Lovely movie about Japanese manhole culture and how it’s made here. In other manhole-news: the Raubdruckerin.
3: Drone building
This is a terrific idea; show (unfinished) architecture with drones. Concept by Studio Drift, in collaboration with Drone Stories and Nova Sky Stories.
4: Woven bricks
Iris Toonen creates stained glass of this day and age, calling it Woven Bricks. It’s great fun browsing through her experiments on Instagram.
5: Mister Kern
We love seeing other Kerns keeping our common name in high regard, so thanks a million Steffen Kern for your magnificent pencil and ink drawings!!
